GOODS & SERVICE TAX TAX

With the advent of Goods & Services Tax (GST) in India effective July 1, 2017, it has been the most historic change in its indirect tax structure in the last 70 years. GST subsumed multiple taxes and levies leading to rationalisation and simplification of the tax structure. The cascading effect of multiple taxes is replaced by a seamless mechanism for availing offsets at various stages of the value chain. The interface with tax authorities as well as Physical barriers to movement of goods are reduced to a great extent. However, GST being a new law, brings its own issues. A good understanding of the law and its procedures is not widespread yet, and the chances of errors and consequent risks remain high currently. Our GST services are designed to help you navigate these uncharted waters and mitigate implicit risks.
